At Patriot Service Dogs, every service dog is raised by a community. Trainers teach the skills. Volunteers open their homes. Veterans help shape the training. And supporters make the work possible. The Sponsor a Puppy Program invites everyone into that community.
When you sponsor a puppy, you become part of the story behind one dog, one veteran, and the family who will walk this journey alongside them. Your support helps provide the care, training, and everyday experiences a puppy needs to grow into a steady partner. Along the way, you’ll receive exclusive email updates with milestones, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments, so you can watch the journey unfold and know that you helped make it possible.
Meet Georgie
Meet Georgie, an English Labrador Retriever from Alabama and the first puppy in Patriot Service Dogs' Sponsor a Puppy Program. Named after George Washington in honor of America's 250th anniversary, Georgie represents the beginning of a new tradition—one that invites our community to share in the journey of raising future service dogs for veterans.
Though she's only just beginning her training, Georgie is already winning hearts. She is calm, affectionate, loves children, and is showing early signs of the temperament we look for in a future service dog. Over the next two years, she'll learn, grow, and face challenges along the way. Through it all, she'll be surrounded by a community that believes in her and in the veteran she may one day serve. No service dog succeeds alone.
